The Bird’s Eye view

Throughout my life, I make no claim to witnessing an abundance of breathtaking marvels, but I have been lucky to behold a few, and some have been from high above.

One of these wonders is a mesmerizing tapestry, a symphony of red, blue, yellow, and white hues painted across the sky as I watch the drama of sunsets and sunrises. As a traveler whose flights are scheduled for early morning or evening, the perpetual allure of this spectacle never fails to captivate my senses.

Another is the nocturnal brilliance of city lights, scattered like gems across the darkened landscape. On other occasions, the morning’s natural masterpiece, where foliage sprawls across the land like a carefully crafted work of art has left me spellbound.

I doubt I have seen a bird up close while in the air, but I have this sense of kinship in our shared privilege. Like them, I get to witness these transient moments of beauty.

Each occurrence always leaves me in a profound state of awe and wonder, a humble spectator to the greatness unfolding beneath the wings of flight.
